In-Depth Magazine Profile of the 2011

Posted on January 4, 2011 by Johnny 2 Comments

The November 2010 issue of Florida Sportsman magazine featured a sneak peek at the new Egret 2011, saying that it “lives up to its name.” The article—and accompanying WebXtra—featured numerous of detailed photos of the newest member of the Egret family.

The magazine got this exclusive look at the new boat at the Egret Owners Tournament in Jensen Beach. Frank showed off the new 20-footer on the Indian River Lagoon near St. Lucie Inlet, prompting the magazine to write: “A step up from the popular 18-footer, the 20 is rated for up to 350 horsepower. Otherwise, many of the features available on the 16- and 18-footers are standard on the 20-footer, albeit a bit more spacious or beefier. Nobody left disappointed.”

I have a 2001 Egret 189. I noticed some delamination around the hull outer edges. Any suggestions on how to repair this?

    Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that the link to the Florida Sportsman article is no longer any good. I think this may be the correct link: http://www.floridasportsman.com/2012/07/12/xtra_egret_20_1010/

Now I am going back to dreaming about the 189 and the 2011. :-)
    Kind regards, Capt. Mike
